2025 Winter Machine Pitch League

Dunwoody Senior Baseball is going to try something new this year. The fundamental idea is to have a machine-pitch league during November and December. This will allow pitching arms to rest but allow continued training on hitting and fielding. Also to have a bit of fun. Here are the basic concepts:

· No walks, no stealing, no pickoffs.

· Games are played for 1 hours( as many innings as you can get in)

· Games would be Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, and Sun.

· Double headers may be scheduled since games are 1 hour

· 2 Divisions: Grades 5-6/10-12U, Grades 7-8/13-15U

· Bases would be 50x70 and 54x80

· Team coaches run the machine and make calls.

· Registration would be by team. Individual signup for a wait list assignment to teams.

· Minimum of 4 teams per age group.

· Cost for 8 games would be $600 per team.

· Pitching speeds and pitches would be determined by the director each week for each age group. Note that our machines can throw curves, and 4 seam fastballs.

· We would use the new turtles on both fields.
